Announcing the Buckeye Education Foundation's 4th Annual
Virtual Art Show!

Theme: "California Dreamin'"

Calling all Buckeye Union School District student artists! Show the Buckeye community what you love about our "golden state" and what you treasure about life here in California.

We are excited to announce that judging will be conducted by celebrated local artist Brian Wallace, along with members of our partnering sponsor, the El Dorado Hills Arts Association

A bit about artist Brian Wallace:

My name is Brian Wallace. I was born in the region and have lived in Folsom California for the last 20 years.

I have been drawing since I was a child and worked professionally as an art director in my early 20s but I shifted to a career in sales and marketing and that is what I do professionally today.

Prior to starting Brian Wallace Art in 2020 The creative work that I’d been more focused on was branding, logo design (which I still do) - but Brian Wallace Art is inspired by the places I’ve been and it has really challenged me to capture the essence of a place.

A lot of my work is California-inspired and I want the finished piece to be relatable to anyone that has seen the same thing that I have.

If my work can reconnect you to a place with familiar colors and shapes… that is what will keep me inspired.

Top scoring student artists will be invited to have their artwork displayed at the El Dorado County Library, El Dorado Hills Branch!
